Bosworth offers its Guzzler diaphragm pumps in a variety of materials, making it possible to use them for transferring fluids that might have special chemical resistance requirements. A popular pump for such fluid transfer is the Guzzler "Poly-pro", which features polypropylene body, flanges and diaphragm button. Polypropylene has excellent resistance to organic solvents, as well as many acids and alkalis.
Additionally, Guzzler elastomers (i.e. diaphragm and valves) are available in a variety of materials, including Buna-Nitrile, EPDM, Neoprene, Viton and Silicone. With this range of options as well as the ability to "mix-and-match" components, it is possible to tailor your Guzzler configuration to match the pumping requirements for a broad range of chemical transfer needs.
You can also use our Chemical Compatibility Search Function to find the Guzzler materials and recommended Guzzler pumps and configurations that are most compatible with a particular chemical, as chosen from a list of over 400 different fluids.Have a Guzzler® video to share?
